Is this the worst job in Britain?
Wednesday 14th July 2010Workers are currently undertaking a stomach-churning task beneath London's Leicester Square.
They are removing 1000 tons of congealed fat (enough to fill nine double deckers) from the sewers.
A team of "flushers" is using shovels to dig out the horror blocking the pipes.
They might be used to getting their hands dirty - but it is a grim job nonetheless.
We're struggling to think of a role much worse than this - can you help? Is there a grimmer job anywhere in the UK? Have your say using the comment section below

End of beginning as downturn slows slightly
The seasonally-adjusted CIPS/Markit Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) rose to 42.9 in April from 39.1 the previous month, but was lower than last year’s figure of 49.7. Despite remaining below the neutral 50.0 mark (a figure less than 50 indicates a contraction) for the 13th month running, the PMI moved further from February’s joint survey record low.
