Taleo expands cloud options
Thursday 6th May 2010Talent management solutions provider Taleo is expanding its partnership with IBM to further connect and integrate their respective cloud solutions.
Cast Iron Systems, recently acquired by IBM, enables companies to rapidly integrate Taleo Business Edition with other applications in days.
As a market leader in talent management, Taleo has deep experience in providing integrated solutions to the largest installed base in the industry with 4500 customers including 49 of the Fortune 100 companies.
Cast Iron Systems provides a complete platform to integrate cloud and on-premise applications, and has delivered thousands of cloud integrations around the world.
It enables customers to rapidly exchange critical talent management data - such as job codes, salaries, employee information and more - between Taleo and other Human Resource applications and helps them streamline their talent management processes across cloud and on-premise applications.

End of beginning as downturn slows slightly
The seasonally-adjusted CIPS/Markit Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) rose to 42.9 in April from 39.1 the previous month, but was lower than last year’s figure of 49.7. Despite remaining below the neutral 50.0 mark (a figure less than 50 indicates a contraction) for the 13th month running, the PMI moved further from February’s joint survey record low.
